The pedalboard FX chain runs in the cloud: pitch layer, stutter, echo throw, reverb throw, then mastering to −8 LUFS. Done in under 20 seconds.

Pitch layer — varispeed pitch-down duplicate mixed under the dry voice.
Stutter — first word repeated 3× before the full line.
Echo throw — delay on the last word only, BPM-synced.
Reverb throw — reverb tail on the last word, dry body stays upfront.
Master — compressor → limiter → loudness normalize → head trim to −8 LUFS.

Q1What even is a DJ drop?

A short vocal clip — your name, a hype call, a tag line — that you fire during a set to brand your mix. Think "DJ Khaled!" but yours, mastered, and ready to trigger from a pad.

Q2Do I need my own voice?

Nope. You can record yourself, clone your voice from a 5-second clip, or use studio-grade AI voices (ElevenLabs, OpenRouter). Pick whatever sounds right for your brand.

Q3What hardware does this work with?

The iOS app fires drops live from pad grids into any mixer on a spare channel. We also export Rekordbox-compatible hot-cue banks for Pioneer hardware (XDJ-XZ, CDJ, etc).

Q4What format are the drops?

44.1 kHz / 16-bit PCM WAV — broadcast standard. Mastered to −8 LUFS with the full FX chain baked in, or dry (VOICE_ONLY preset) so you can add your own live effects.

Q5How much will it cost?

Early access is free. After launch, expect a simple per-drop or subscription model — no surprise fees. Your own recorded drops are always free to render.

Q6Is my data safe?

Voice recordings and drops stay on your device. Cloud rendering processes your audio, delivers the WAV, and doesn't store the source. Nothing trains models.
